It was a joyous occasion as Rosemary and Johnathan Makin arrived all the way from Abu Dhabi along with their friends and family to celebrate their special day.
“Delamere Manor is a dream venue. From start to finish Dale & Joy were amazing. They were always so accommodating and easy to work with. As we live in Abu Dhabi we were unable to view the Manor in person so we had our viewing & planning details done over skype initially and we completely fell in love with the Manor.”
It’s safe to say that Delamere Manor casts an enchanting spell on people from near and far to visit our beautiful Cheshire countryside grounds, and this happy couple are no exception with regards to achieving their perfect wedding.
The newlyweds decided to utilise our radiant contemporary courtyard venue to hold their celebrant ceremony, which was graciously directed by Susan Foxall Ceremonies. Its magical fairy-light canopy and glass fronted entrance allows for some truly stunning imagery, especially when it comes to making both the bride and their metallic, green, and white theme shine among the breath-taking flower arrangements done by Springbank.

For a one of a kind wedding, Rose and Jonny inserted plenty of personal touches throughout the day to give their guests an experience they will always remember. Courtesy of Cheeky Chilli Events, instead of a traditional three course wedding breakfast, they opted for sharing boards of meats, vegetables and condiments. One person from each table carved the meat for all the guests, whilst wearing chef hats and aprons – a great icebreaker for people that hadn’t met before to get fully involved. Plus, in order to keep the drinks flowing, Mr & Mrs signature cocktails added an extra exotic spark to the festivities.
Every picture is a memory to behold, and photography played a big part. Claire Photography and Victoria Louise Videography allowed guests the opportunity to live in the moment, whether that’s laugh, cry, sing, or even act silly in Boothtube’s photo booth.
Finally, entertainment wise, music was performed by The Pedal Tones; known for their lively Indie and Rock songs – guaranteed to get everyone dancing their socks off.
