At Delamere Manor, we understand that your wedding ceremony is a deeply personal and cherished moment. That’s why we offer a range of options to ensure that your special dayis tailored to your dreams and desires. With its stunning architecture and breath-taking surroundings, Delamere Manor sets the stage for a celebration of love like no other. Whether you envision an outdoor ceremony overlooking our six-acre lake, a romantic exchange of vow in our charming Garden Folly, or a grand affair in our contemporary Courtyard, we have the perfect space to bring your vision to life.

You are welcome to hold your wedding ceremony anywhere within our 100 acre grounds, however, these are the locations we recommend if you wish to have an outdoor wedding ceremony:

The Terrace

Overlooking the manicured parkland, lake and mature woodland beyond, the south-facing paved terrace is a spectacular place for you to say ‘I do’. With direct access from the Drawing Room for the bride’s magnificent entrance, it provides a blank canvas for you to create the wedding ceremony of your dreams.

The Garden Folly

This enchanting structure offers not only a beautiful backdrop for stunning photographs but also a unique opportunity to exchange your vows amidst the awe-inspiring grounds, overlooking the serene beauty of the lake. 

The Jetty

Experience the picturesque beauty of our fabulous Jetty at Delamere Manor.  Just a short stroll from the Manor, this remarkable location offers a unique waterside wedding ceremony option on our stunning lake where wildlife thrives, and our resident swans often make an appearance.

The Courtyard

Our inside / outside space, The Courtyard, provides a magical backdrop for your big day.  For sunny days, the roof is fully retractable and when day turns to dusk, thousands of twinkly lights give the space a truly enchanted quality.

Delamere manor is by far the best wedding venue there is! The manor is just for you and your guests, the place is stunning and the views are spectacular. Me and my new husband couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding and delamere manor made that happen. The staff at delamere were amazing, to planning, different decisions being made to going above and beyond on the day too. They did absolutely everything possible to make sure it was the perfect day which it was. Every single member of staff were lovely, friendly and I haven’t a bad word to say. Thank you so so much to all the staff at Delamere Manor!

When I came across this venue, I knew that there was no other choice for our big day. I was told all day that I looked so calm for a bride. And I’ve got to say, this is thanks to all the staff at Delamere making sure that everything ran smoothly! I’d book this venue again in a heartbeat (of course I’m hoping to only get married once! But who says a wedding renewal ceremony won’t happen in 10 years time)

My husband and I got married at Delamere Manor April 2023. We booked way back in November 2020 and the staff at Delamere were amazing from the point onwards. We were allowed to visit the venue several times, they assisted us with suppliers and their recommendations and all the forward planning (even if we got way ahead of ourselves sometimes!). Joy helped us organise our whole day and she was incredibly helpful.

Lockdown has caused me to reminisce about our wonderful wedding day and how lucky we were to celebrate our special day at Delamere Manor last year. A collection of words flood my mind romantic, beautiful, sunshine, family and friends, Gary Barlow, fun, glamorous, picturesque. And my word, do our wedding photographs depict all of these things. It really was the perfect day, amazing in every way which would not have possible without Joy and the most amazing team at Delamere not forgetting the professional suppliers who made the day quite simply ‘the best’!

What can I say other than that our wedding here was an absolute dream come true! From all the weeks planning, down to the biggest day of our lives, the team here went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. The venue is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to have glorious weather, meaning we could make use of the incredible grounds. There are so many picturesque spots for those all-important wedding photos. We can’t thank the team at Delamere Manor enough for everything that they did for us, they made us feel like old friends. I would recommend Delamere Manor to anyone looking to book their wedding. We got married in July 2018 and we cannot thank the team enough for all of their hard work. The Manor is breath-taking, we fell in love as soon as we viewed in February 2017. It was important to us to have a venue which was exclusive-use as we didn’t want to be seeing guests which weren’t part of our day. From the initial enquiry with the team and even leading up to the Wedding, Dale and the team were on hand to advise us as every step of the way. We had lots of questions and they were always answered promptly. The day was the best day of our lives, we were lucky to say our ‘I Do’s’ on the terrace overlooking the Delamere estate. BEST day ever! Thank you so much.

I’ve not even had my wedding here yet but I just wanted to leave a review to say Joy & all the team at Delamere are the most amazing people to deal with ever! Like any typical bride, I’ve had hundreds (if not thousands of questions!) & they have been on hand to answer them all, very promptly may I add, no matter how big or small!!! Yes, the house itself is stunning & no one can deny that but I feel it’s the team that add the extra WOW factor & have put me at ease so many times over our upcoming wedding. Honestly, if you book to have your wedding here you will feel like you’ve booked a wedding planner, not just your wedding venue! So sooo excited for our wedding on the 4th August & the team at Delamere have played a huge part in that!!

THE COURTYARD

Our sensational contemporary, glass-fronted Courtyard, features a dazzling fairy light canopy. With a fully retractable roof, you can enjoy the feeling of being outside, safe in the knowledge that cover is only a few seconds away, should the unpredictable British weather decide not to cooperate! Lime washed Chiavari chairs and an ivory aisle runner are both included with the ceremony hire. A real stunning location to host a Chesire wedding ceremony. Please note that couples are responsible for booking their own registrar.
