Delamere Manor was very privileged to host the wedding of Lisa and Jeremy Moore from Radcliffe, Manchester. The day was a perfect mix of tradition and modernity, as the couple celebrated their blissful union within our exquisite Courtyard venue.

Lisa and Jeremy opted for a traditional Jewish ceremony under a religious handmade Chuppah – a canopy to symbolize the couple’s prosperity of building a new home together which was lavishly designed and constructed by Verdure Floral Design. Their colour scheme was pastels, white, and green as they wanted to utilise the beautiful forest views through the Courtyard windows, making the indoors feel as enchanted as the outdoors.
Rabbi Saunders conducted the ceremony with his 5 assistants, with a big focus on joy, celebration, and the power of love. First, they begin with the blessing over a cup wine, then progress to more grand and celebratory statements, before ending with a blessing of joy, peace, companionship. Now the bride and groom could rejoice together!
Following the ceremony, people were in high spirits – literally! As the Hora saw a few brave guests hoist the bride and groom above the crowd on chairs to the compelling sounds of “Hava Nagila”.

Meanwhile, our award-winning suppliers weaved their magic wands to create a truly spectacular experience. Cheeky Chilly and Blackrod delivered fine dining at its best, with a bespoke menu and cake to satisfy everyone’s palettes, whilst Bloomsbury provided world class entertainment; tailoring their music to fit classic Yiddish and modern songs.
Of course, it’s important to never miss a moment and have a ‘Jolly Good Photo’; of whom brought their own vintage filters and props for guests to snap some fun, whimsical pictures.
