• Select a Wine to go with the Season

A great way to select your wine is by considering the season your wedding will be taking place. If your wedding is outdoors and during the summer, white and rose wines will be more refreshing for guests, whilst red wine is ideal for the cooler months in autumn and winter. 

• Pair with your Wedding Breakfast

Another great way to help you select your wines is by looking at your chosen menu. The traditional rules are to pair white and rose wines with white meat and red wines with red meat. Ask your caterer for direction when it comes to pairing for each course.  

• Champagne for Toasts

When it comes to the wedding toasts, champagne and sparkling wines are usually the most suitable and ideally you want enough for each guest to have half a glass per toast. Remember- it’s always best to round up the number of bottles rather than down to avoid disappointment.  

• Consider your Theme

When you select your wedding theme, you create a unique aesthetic for the day- so why would the wine you select be any different? If you’re having a glamorous or vintage affair, opt for champagne! If you’re having a rustic, bohemian celebration, select a wine with wild fragrances and fruits! There are so many ways to ensure your wine compliments the overall theme for your big day.
