And true to form as one of the most versatile wedding venues in Cheshire, Delamere Manor has not one, but several different locations for your ceremony and photos to take place.
The Jetty
The Jetty gives you a truly lakeside wedding venue, as it is set right down by the waterside and is perfect for intimate and romantic wedding ceremonies.
With the open water to one side and the neatly trimmed lawns to the other, plus the Manor itself a short distance away, it’s an utterly idyllic setting.
Even if you choose elsewhere on the grounds for your wedding ceremony to take place, we’d still suggest taking a walk down to the Jetty to see the swans and take some extra photos as a memento of your day.
The Terrace
If you’d rather stay closer to the house, the Terrace is an excellent option, giving you views over the lake with the convenience of direct access from inside the Manor.
For the ceremony itself, the bride can enter via the Drawing Room, keeping the ‘reveal’ of her dress, hair and makeup until the very last moment in time-honoured tradition.
The Terrace is an extremely versatile space that can be decorated to suit all kinds of wedding colour schemes, floral arrangements and so on, with great photo opportunities against the backdrop of our landscaped grounds and six-acre lake.
The Garden Folly
Finally, perhaps one of the most photogenic structures in our grounds, the Garden Folly is well worth a visit whether it’s for your wedding ceremony or just for some photos.
Again it offers the best of both worlds, surrounded by our rolling green lawns and landscaped gardens, but with views across the lake as well.
