Convenience
Saturdays are usually the most practical days for guest attendance. Many people do not work on weekends, so most of your attendees will not need to cut into their holiday allowances to attend. A Saturday night reception may also run quite late, but with the following day being a Sunday, your guests will be able to stay up to enjoy the celebrations.
