Orders of Service with a Difference

Pulling together your wedding order of service is a chance for you and your partner to express yourselves and show off your creative flair. While the order is very similar for many ceremonies, how you present it should represent who you are as a couple. To give you some inspiration the Wedding Team at Delamere Manor have pulled together a list of creative ideas to get you started.

1. Make a Timeline

Break down the events of the day simply and create an illustrated timeline for your guests. The idea may be simple, but you can make this order of service really stand out with cute illustrations and fonts to match your wedding theme.

2. Order up!

If you and your partner are foodies, why not turn your order of service into a menu! Take all the ingredients that make up your special day and dish them out in a cool menu style. It’s also a great way to incorporate some fun facts about the married couple to-be and wedding party.

3. It’s a Love Story

Your order of service doesn’t have to just be about the events of your wedding, it could be a great way to give your guests a little insight into your love story. Make your order of service into a short story and include key dates from your relationship which have led you to your big day.

4. Add a Little Something Extra

As your order of service provides a step-by-step guide for your guests, why not provide them with a little something extra and add a few gifts into the mix! From a small pack of tissues for the ceremony to a bag of confetti for your big exit, these little add-ons are a great way to encourage involvement from your guests throughout the day.

5. A Trip of a Lifetime

For the keen travellers and adventurous couples, a great way to incorporate your interests into your order of service is by making it into a passport! Provide guests with their very own stamps and encourage them to stamp their way through each stage of your day, making it the perfect keepsake for them to take home.
