Six Ways to Make your Wedding Aisle Photo-Ready

One of the most photographed moments at a wedding is when the bride takes her first steps down the aisle, so it’s important to ensure this space looks photo-ready! The Wedding Team at Delamere Manor have compiled a list of our top ways to decorate your wedding aisle, ensuring every aspect looks beautiful and ready for your special day…

1. Flower Garlands

Keep it simple and beautiful with flower garlands at either side of the aisle. This will not only create a stunning walkway for the wedding party, but it will also look great in the wedding photos too!

2. Focus on the Seats

A simple aisle with no decorations can be really affective in the right setting, so you may wish to add unique seating to elevate the area instead! We recommend wooden chairs, hay bales, metal chairs and benches too!

3. Elevate the Aisle

Ensure every guest sees the bride’s grand entrance and elevate the aisle from the ground. Whether on a bridge, boardwalk, stairs, or stage, this is a great way to make your aisle stand out whilst making it easy for your photographer to capture those all-important entrance and exit photos.

4. Scattered Lanterns

To add a little warmth to your wedding ceremony, we recommend adding candle-lit lanterns to your wedding aisles. Consider including a variety of sizes and groupings to make a real statement.

5. Big Blooms

Decorate your aisle with beautiful blooms that compliment your wedding colour scheme. From petals, aisle runners and chair decorations, there are so many ways you can cover your ceremony in flowers, making it the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

6. Use the Outdoors

If you and your partner have opted for an outdoor wedding, we recommend using your location to decorate your wedding aisle. Think trees to line the aisle with a floor covered in autumn leaves- this will create a stunning, natural setting for your first walk down the aisle as a married couple.
