At Delamere Manor, we are lucky to witness SO many beautiful weddings at our Cheshire wedding venue. Each wedding is styled individually depending on the couple’s wishes.
Looking forward to 2018, we cannot wait to see which predicted big trends for weddings take off! To inspire any soon-to-be brides and grooms we have put together a few of our team’s suggestions for 2018 here at Delamere Manor.
Admittedly, many brides and grooms like to stick to timeless themes. However, below are some suggestions we are getting excited about. These will most certainly set your day apart from the rest and make it even more personalised to your taste.
Floral Wedding Statements
It has been forecasted that next year is not just about flowers, but vessels too! The eclectic mix of vintage and new pieces; coloured glass, geometric shapes, concrete and vintage cut glass are predicted to be big for 2018. With regards to flowers, the bolder the better, however pastels with a punch of colour will still look gorgeous if you prefer to play it safe. Flowers are a great way of making our unique Cheshire countryside wedding venue completely yours.
Transparent Wedding Styling Elements
It is predicted that 2018 will see a surge in see-through settings and décor. This look is great for modern and minimalist couples who like clean lines – we can picture this working well in our beautiful Delamere Courtyard, which has amazing transparent glass and open top roof. We have seen lots of wedding signage written on clear perspex and mirrors, which would look great throughout the venue.
Pearls and Glamour Wedding Styling
Pearls are coming back, fast and strong! Not just as earrings, but headpieces, rings and embellishment on dresses too. We wonder if we will see any hint of pearls within the décor?! There is so much scope within our Cheshire countryside venue, both inside and out, to add some unique styling touches along this theme.
Wedding Wreaths, Garlands and Drapes
A beautiful, popular alternative decoration for weddings that sees us across all seasons. The bohemian rings most certainly impress guests by your creativity, not forgetting the sweet scent of eucalyptus and wildflowers. Wedding drapes are also starting to be used heavily in venues where there is ample ceiling space. Most typically seen at Tipi weddings because of their height, this style of decoration would also work well in our courtyard, which has a great roof space. Floral garlands can also be used outside to make the most of our Cheshire outdoor wedding space. Garlands can be used to outline the isle space and navigate guests in style.
