Our award-winning Cheshire country manor can accommodate for a small, intimate winter wedding through to large summer celebrations. Whilst we have lots of gorgeous outside space for our guest to use in the summer, our extensive inside space allows for the most wonderful wedding celebration in the colder weather too.
We have been lucky enough to witness so many beautiful winter weddings at Delamere Manor, it is truly breath-taking how our gorgeous Manor can totally transform depending on the décor and the season.
As our events team have had lots of experience preparing and styling winter weddings, we thought it would be a great idea to give you some tips and tricks we have learnt over time with regards to décor.
Nature
Looking to nature for your winter wedding decorations can really transform the style of the room. From tree stumps, twigs and chopped logs, they offer a beautiful rustic feel to a venue and work perfectly for a winter wedding. By adding gold accents to the décor, it really sets the tone and the room feels romantic and warm.
Stationary
Winter themed stationary is a must for a winter wedding! Finish textured invites with white velvet ribbon and a luxe gold wax stamp to set the tone for the big day.
Get creative!
Don’t be afraid to think outside the box for your winter wedding. Just by spending a small amount on spray paint, glitter and sparklers for your guests, can really offer a unique touch to your wedding and look fabulous on photos.
Winter touches
Have you thought about asking your florist to decorate a rustic wreath for your venue? Adding seasonal greenery looks stylish and is very easy to achieve.
Add some festive fun!
There are lots of fun things you can add to your winter wedding for both yourself and your guests, from sprinkling mistletoe in key spots around your venue that create beautiful photo opportunities to serving festive treats such a mince pies and mulled wine.
