Earlier this month Delamere manor followed the white rabbit down the rabbit hole where we were transported to Wonderland as we transformed our venue into a Mad Hatters tea party based on the tale of Alice in Wonderland. Outfits were on point as guests dressed up as their favourite character from the story whether it was Alice, the Queen of Hearts or even a pair of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.  To celebrate their milestone birthday, our guest laid out the tables in the style of the Mad Hatters tea party as they enjoyed an exquisite buffet provided by our award winning caterers Cheeky Chilli Events. The menu consisted of hand carved succulent beef, mouth watering gammon and luscious potatoes baked in a delightful home made garlic and herb butter.

The Cheshire Cat greeted the party goers at the door along with complimentary prosecco attached with a “Drink Me” label, a popular phrase from the fairy tale. The decor was complete with giant playing cards and red roses scattered around the venue in honour of the villainous Queen of Hearts herself. In our nightclub area, scenes from the hit Disney film were projected on loop to make the guests truly feel like they were part of the magic of Wonderland.
