From velvet suits to faux-fur stoles, your wedding party will be grateful for these warmer fabric choices. Don’t forget to include thick hosiery for the bridesmaids and stylish winter footwear too! 

 

 

• Extra Travel Time

With bad weather comes bad traffic so allow extra time for travel to the ceremony and reception for you and your guests.

 

 

• Book One Venue Instead of Two

Many couples like to book two separate venues for the ceremony and reception, however, if you’re planning a winter nuptial, we recommend booking a venue that can cater to both celebrations. Having coats hung on the back of seats at the wedding reception does not create a beautiful aesthetic for the wedding photos. Provide guests with a coat check-in and make sure a member of staff is available to keep all belongings safe throughout the day. 

 

 

• Don’t Forget to Prep your Skin

Dry skin is inevitable when it comes to the winter months, so make sure your skin is prepped with moisturiser for your big day and have a chapstick to hand throughout the celebrations. 

 

 

• Take your Vitamins

Nobody wants to be sneezing on their big day! Make sure you take your vitamins on the run-up to your celebrations. We recommend Vitamin C and Vitamin D.
