• Love Actually (2003)

All you need is love (and a flash mob brass band)! Providing all the romantic inspiration you need, Love Actually features an iconic wedding scene that has inspired many wedding ceremonies since its release.  

• Miracle on 34th Street (1994)

Although we don’t get to see the full wedding ceremony, we do get to see a stunning Cartier ring along with a beautiful church scene. Watch as little Susan’s Christmas wish comes true as her mother weds lawyer best friend, Bryan Bedford in time for Christmas Day. 

• It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)

For a classic movie this Christmas, we love It’s a Wonderful Life. Starring James Stewart and Donna Reed, watch as the pair tie the knot and celebrate with a less-than traditional honeymoon in their future family home. 

• Happiest Season (2020)

Okay, not technically a wedding scene – but there is a planned proposal! This romantic Christmas movie tells the tale of Abby and Harper as they head to Harper’s family home for the holidays. Whilst Abby is planning on proposing, she soon realises that Harper hasn’t been honest with her parents about their relationship. Starring Kristen Stewart Mackenzie Davis, this movie will have you and your partner laughing and crying throughout the festive season. 

• A Christmas Prince (2017)

A Christmas Prince packs every Hallmark cliché into one movie- and we are here for it! Watch as a journalist is assigned to cover a handsome prince of a small country named Aldovia, and how she soon gets more than she originally bargained for.
