1. Speak to the Bride

It’s important to speak to the bride before you speak to your fellow hens. This will ensure that you have a rough idea of what she is expecting so you can avoid any disappointments. Ask the bride what type of celebration she would like, including details on location, the number of people she’d like to invite, and what type of activities she would enjoy- this will ensure you throw the best bash for your best pal.

2. Talk Budget First

When you make that all important WhatsApp group with all the other hens, make sure the first item you discuss is budget. It’s very easy saying you would like to throw a hen party abroad, but many people have to adhere to different budgets. Make sure you’re aware of any money limitations before you start making the plans to ensure every hen can attend. 

3. Don’t Bombard the What’sApp Group

Yes, we did just state that the What’sApp group is important when it comes to organising a hen party, however, you should try and not bombard your fellow hens with messages.  Sometimes the easiest way to get a response is by messaging them directly with the crucial information. This will also enable them to express any issues that they may not feel comfortable expressing in the group. 

4. Consider Your Group Size Before Booking

If you’re planning a large hen party with 20+ guests, then a villa would be much more cost effective than booking rooms in a hotel. Consider your group size before you make any bookings for accommodation, activities, and travel. This will ensure you’re getting the best deals for you and your gals. 

5. Always Offer Flexibility

Now, you’ve finally found the perfect accommodation and planned all the activities for your besties party, so it’s natural for you to want everyone to adhere to the plans. However, we recommend always offering flexibility and letting your fellow hens know they have options. Remember- hen parties can be expensive, and everyone should be encouraged to adhere to their own budgets, whether that’s staying at a cheaper hotel, or only attending a few of the activities.
