Over winter and early Spring, our super-talented team of mixologists have been shaking up a storm behind the scenes, developing a range of new signature cocktails.
Working alongside local bar supremo and guest experience guru, Rick Warrier of Rick Warrier Training and Development, our team have created a sublime selection of drinks all inspired by the Manor and its unique surroundings.
In a celebration of all things local, we have used a selection of Cheshire products in the mixes, including Combermere based Three Wrens Gin along with a range of locally foraged berries and seasonal herbs.
So what is in the line-up?
First up, and inspired by our very own ‘Lady Boss’, our owner Michelle Stubbs, The Lady of The Manor oozes class. Like a classic White Lady, this elegant tipple is made using Three Wrens Rhubarb Gin, Manzana Verde and a hint of vanilla.
The Delamere Mule takes its inspiration from the Manor’s famous forest location. Packed with vanilla vodka, raspberries, and lemon juice, topped with local ginger ale and finished with mint, it’s a twist on the classic Moscow Mule, with fresh, woodland notes.
Paying homage to a true classic, the Lakeside Collins is every bit as refreshing as its namesake, the Tom Collins. Created with Three Wrens Apple Crumble gin with notes of elderflower and peach, it’s the perfect drink for a high-summer event.
Finally, taking its name from the Manor itself, the Mansion House Mai-Thai packs a real punch. A fiery mix of Havana rum, Amaretto, passion fruit, lime, and pineapple juice, it’s a fruity little number, with a bit of a kick!
Speaking about the new cocktail range, our owner Michelle Stubbs said: “Cocktail hours are really growing in popularity and are one of the top wedding trends for 2023, so creating our own unique range of signature cocktails seemed like an obvious step.
It’s been amazing to work with Rick and tap into his vast experience and the team have been hands-on in terms of getting creative and trying out new ideas.
As a venue, we always aim to offer something a little bit unique, so we have invested a lot of time into developing an industry-leading drinks menu with exciting new beers, quirky premium spirits, and an incredible new cocktail menu.”
The stunning new drinks offering is now live and guests are loving the new line up! In addition to the new tipples, the team are also offering cocktail masterclass sessions, which are ideal for the ‘night before’ the big day and a wide range of corporate and private events.
